A Tufted Headboard Makes Any Bed Fancier

For adults, the choices on beds are more varied. You can get queen, King, and California king sizes along with a slew of different frames made from different materials. You can get an oak sleigh frame with a leather padded headboard, for example, other options are cherry, pine, or maple wood with an upholstered tufted headboard. You could even go for a more classic look and get a black or white iron frame. These types are quite common on daybeds. Don't forget memory foam mattress to go along with this.
Beyond that, think about what you're want to do with the nightstand and dresser. If you want a very modern, contemporary look, you could try to find unfinished furniture. There Are Many Great Ways to Put Together a Bedroom

However, adults usually want the full matching set. This includes the dresser and nightstand furniture. They are usually made from fancy woods, like cherry, maple, oak, or pine. When this is the case, the bed frame can be a simple traditional piece or you can get a fancier sleigh type. The headboard then can be padded with leather or have tufts and be upholstered.
If you're going for a more modern look, though, you might think about getting different furniture from the bed frame. Then go for a more classic iron bed frame. Believe it or not, this vintage look will be more contemporary than matching all the pieces. The frames usually look the best if they are black or white, as it reinforces the old fashioned style.
Don't forget about daybeds, either. These little beds are perfect for filling up that extra room that no one permanently uses. Guests can still have an excellent night while sleeping on it, too. It also works as a great bed for kids.
As for what mattress to get, the best hands down is the memory foam kinds. They are more expensive for a reason, and that is because the comfort they offer is unparalleled. Though they take a little getting used to, they are betting for your body and you will notice that in the long run. They make them in all sizes (twin, full, queen, King, and California King) as well.
